Mujer, Mar Y Muerte is a moving exploration the spiritual connection between mothers and daughters through elements like magical realism. This CalArts thesis film was one of the more ambitious projects I took on, requiring a bigger budget than I had ever been given before, several custom made pieces both in house and at a manufacturer and a collaboration with a papier-mâché artist to create some masks.
